Statement of Faith

The following statements outline the core beliefs and doctrine that we hold to as a church. They reflect the biblical convictions that shape our faith, guide our teaching, and influence how we live and worship together.

The Bible

We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith, life, and practice. Through Scripture, we seek to know God more deeply and to live faithfully according to His truth.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally as three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, distinct in person yet one in essence, distinguishable but indivisible. The mystery of the Trinity reveals the beauty of God's nature, His work in the world, and His will for the salvation of mankind.

The Father

We believe God the Father is the first Person of the Trinity. He is sovereign, holy, just, merciful, and loving, faithfully working to redeem and reconcile humanity to Himself. As our heavenly Father, He lovingly adopts all who place their faith in Jesus Christ and accomplishes His perfect will according to His divine purpose.

The Son

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the Word who became flesh and made his dwelling among us. He is the second Person of the Trinity, who has always existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Fully God and fully human, He entered creation through the virgin birth without ceasing to be God. As the Creator, all things were made through Him, and all creation is sustained by Him. Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, He revealed the Father's love, accomplished our salvation, and offers forgiveness, healing, hope, and new life to all who place their faith in Him.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, fully God and co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells believers, and empowers them for holy living and faithful service. He transforms lives into the likeness of Christ, and enables us to reflect God's love and proclaim the gospel to the world.

Humanity and Sin

We believe every person is created in the image of God, but that sin has broken our relationship with Him. Apart from Christ, humanity is separated from God, yet through His grace we are offered redemption, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

Salvation Through Christ

We believe salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and became the substitute for humanity, bearing the judgment we deserved and making reconciliation with God possible. Through His atoning sacrifice, we are forgiven, redeemed, and justified before God, not by our own works, but through faith in Christ and His finished work. His resurrection secures our hope of eternal life, and through Christ, lives are transformed, hope is restored, and we are called to follow Him in faithful obedience.

The Return of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will return in glory at the time appointed by the Father to judge the living and the dead. Those who have placed their faith in Him will be raised to everlasting life in His presence, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God. At His return, Christ will fully establish His eternal kingdom, and His redeemed people will dwell with Him forever in the new heavens and the new earth, where righteousness, peace, and the fullness of God's presence will endure forever.
